This weekend the Craighead rowing squad will be heading to Twizel for the South Island Secondary School Regatta. With over 1300 rowers participating, each race will be a very competitive with some events having over 30 boats entered, making spots in the A finals will be hard to come by. The squad is hoping to add to their success they had at the NZ National Rowing Championships and SI Junior Championships.
This will be the last regatta of the season for our U15 squad members who unfortunately will not be able to compete at this year’s Maadi Cup due to Covid numbers restrictions. The Under 16, 17 and 18 will have one final camp in Twizel next weekend in preparation for Maadi which will start on the 28th March.
