This was our first medal regatta of the season so there was a lot of excitement, mixed with some nerves in the air. The regatta kicked off with a windy start, and Saturday saw only 9 races being completed before the regatta got put on hold. Eventually, racing was cancelled for Saturday, which meant that all placings for the regatta would be based off of times. Sunday had notably calmer conditions, and most of the races were completed. By the end of the weekend, the squad came away with a total of five medals.
