Welcome to Craighead Diocesan School

Inclusivity sits at the heart of life at Craighead Diocesan School and each year we welcome children from all religious denominational backgrounds. We aim to provide an exceptional boarding and day education, equipping young women to meet the challenges of life beyond Craighead. As well as a broad academic curriculum, there is a huge breadth and depth to the education we offer, and I warmly invite you to visit us and explore and experience every-day life at the School.

The Admissions Department is the first point of contact for all prospective families and we look forward to guiding you through our admissions process and supporting you and your daughter/s along your journey to becoming part of our Craighead family.

Please do explore our website to find out more about Craighead, we welcome applications for our waiting lists at any time and we very much look forward to welcoming you in person at Craighead soon.

Invitation to new families to meet with Principal

During this period, appointment times are arranged with families who have accepted places for their daughters to attend Craighead. These meetings are to meet with our Principal, Ms Lindy Graham, Senior Leadership or a Year Level Dean.

These meetings are informal, but they are also a personal welcome to Craighead. Families can use this time for asking any further questions they may have, or an opportunity to offer the school further information they feel we may need to know.

Scholarship Information

Families, with daughters who have accepted places for the coming new School year, or those who are currently enrolled at Craighead, may be interested in applying for any of a number of school Scholarships we have available. We have a dedicated webpage with Scholarship information, a link to this, along with relevant deadline details, is also emailed to all eligible families during this term.

Inauguration Day

Early November we hold our Inauguration Day for students and families entering Craighead in the coming new school year.

An invitation to register for this special event will be sent to families via email, including the event date, venue, and time.

A ‘Starting At Craighead’ information pack will be available on the day at the venue for collection.

This special, and enjoyable, event in our annual School calendar brings together our new students and their families to meet, some for the first time, as a Craighead family. Students will meet their future classmates and Teachers, taking part in some fun activities. Families with their daughters, at the conclusion, all enjoy a lunch together in our Dining Room with Teachers, Senior Staff, Boarding Staff and Board members.
